This website was once associated with another domain. However, due to business events, it was archived for many years. Now that the builder and webmaster is retired, it was resurrected and set up as a sub-domian on a personal website. That is why the major gap in comments. Happy Sailing

Thanks for posting pics and status. I bought plans for years ago and started building April 2nd 2011 and this sunday I am going for my first sail. I look everyday and night for people blogs but was to lazy to put one up for others. Thanks for posting your pics!

Well done. I once built a ferro hulled, Endurance 37, which took me about 9 years, so know the problems encountered. Am also going to build a weekender. Sent for the plans, but screwed up the request apparently, will try emailing for the plans. New African wife (and family) not into boats at all, but hey ho, when you gotta, you gotta. Very pretty boat and you have improved the basic boat no end. Best Wishes BN

Congratulations on the first launching and sailing of the Spirit! It was wonderful seeing the wind catch the sails and the freedom of the Spirit gliding at a fast pace across the water. What a site to witness. Thanks for sharing this with us. Watching the crew work together was exciting. Great work with the camera Adele With a few minor adjustments Spirit will sail on many voyages, and teach many how to walk by God's spirit in the voyage of life. The Spirit is an awesome accomplishment. The vessel is sea worthy for sure.
